Umpiring Information

All of our umpires are volunteers.  Please support them as you do every other volunteer.  If you are interested in being a volunteer umpire for Arbutus Little League, please contact either our Umpire in Chief or the League President.  We offer umpire training through the Maryland District IV Umpires Association.  Training for 2010 will start on Monday, February 1st from 7:00pm - 10:00pm at the Violetville Volunteer Fire Station at 4000 Benson Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21227.  The training sessions will run each Monday night in February.  For more information, please contact Pete Lloyd at urout36@yahoo.com.

Occasionally, we will offer discussions and rule interpretations in this space.  If you have a particular rule you are curious about, please send an email to the League President and we may discuss it here in this space.
